Toller Court, Horbling

1 & 2-bed bungalows

Client: South Kesteven District Council

Architect: William Saunders

Approved contractor on a Framework

We are delivering three new bungalows at Toller Court in Horbling, near Sleaford, for a new client: South Kesteven District Council.

The scheme is replacing a vacant former community hall, once the resident's lounge for the wider Toller Court sheltered housing scheme, with one 1-bed and two 2-bed terraced bungalows. The new homes have been designed to be in keeping with the surrounding bungalows and landscaped setting, whilst adding modern design features.

Demolition of the former hall is now complete, and work is now underway on the below ground masonry. As principal contractor, we are managing all aspects of delivery, including coordination with statutory undertakers, discharge of planning conditions and compliance with Building Regulations and warranty standards whilst ensuring the clients expectations are exceeded.

The site sits within an established residential community, so careful site management, safe pedestrian routing and clear communication with neighbouring residents are central to how we're delivering this project.

Once complete, the development will provide three energy-efficient affordable homes, each with an electric car charging point, solar PV, and an ASHP, adding to the mix of housing available in Horbling while remaining in keeping with the established character of Toller Court.
